Well…..I know that a majority of us are wondering why it did not snow today! Oh well, better luck next year! 😊   There is a lot happening this month, so please make sure to jot down the dates.   Wednesday is the day that we will be presenting information about the Cattle Trails to the other 5 th grade classes.   Please send your student in cowboy attire, along with a set of standard attire clothing to change in when we are finished.   IF YOUR CHILD IS ATTENDING SPACE CAMP, YOU MUST REGISTER BY WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12 TH !! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!! Valentine’s Day is on Friday! Next Wednesday, February 12 th , we will be presenting information to other 5 th grade classrooms about Cattle Trails.  It would be great if you could dress your child in some Western/Cowboy attire.  Some simple ideas are: flannel shirts, plaid shirts, cowboy boots, cowboy hats, vests, and bandanas.  It will definitely add to their presentations! 😊 THIS IS NOT SOMEHTING THAT YOU NEED TO GO OUT AND PURCHASE!!!!  If your child is able to participate, please make sure that they also have their STANDARD ATTIRE uniform to change in to when we are finished. 

Happy Monday! We had so much fun at the zoo today and learned a lot of information!  Please ask your child to name the five animal kingdoms and one or two characteristics of that animal.  If you email me back with the kingdom that they named, along with one or two correct characteristics of that animal, I will give them a special prize!
