Happy Monday! We had a great day of teaching learning!!! We started our Hooverville Engineering Challenge today.   Please ask your child about why Hooverville’s were first started and when they occurred.   Instructional Focus Math Workshop: Fractions (adding and subtracting mixed numbers with regrouping) Inquiry Block 1: Inquiry into Economics (The Great Depression, Cattle Trails, Immigration, Panama Canal, Rationing) Inquiry Block 2: Inquiry into Opinion Writing, Esperanza Rising Novel Study Important Dates January 30- Campbell Middle School- Middle School Mindset 6:00-7:30 January 31- Parent’s Night Out Being looking for a permission slip this week.   We are headed for the zoo, Monday, February 3 rd !

Third quarter is now upon us, can you believe it?! The Teasley Attendance Team wants to reward those students who come to school on time every day. Students who have perfect attendance at the end of the quarter, ending on Friday, March 13 th , will receive a free dress down day, surprise treat, and 1 entry into the end of the year drawing for a BRAND NEW BIKE! Students who have perfect attendance for the entire school year will also get to participate in an end of year celebration during the last week of school.
